I'm a computer programmer at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis in the Center for Computational Biology. During the day I'm a mild mannered software developer for two scientific applications: APBS and TINKER.
With what little free time I have I like to optimize other programs, especially structural biology applications. Some of the applications you will recognize from my SBGrid.org days. I'm no longer affiliated with that group and so all my new work and updates will be available from this site.
If you use the binaries and find them useful, or have an application that could use some optimization let me know!
For the curious, my formal background is in mechanistic enzymology, with a stint in structural biology. I have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State. My informal background has taken me all over the place from, music student to private pilot to computer programmer to woodworker. I currently live in Webster Groves, MO with my wife, Beth, and three cats: Ginger, Penelope and Daisy.
