About me…
I’m a computer programmer at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis in the Center for Computational Biology. During the day I’m a mild mannered software developer for two scientific applications: APBS and TINKER.
For the curious, my formal background is in mechanistic enzymology, with a stint in structural biology. I have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State. My informal background has taken me all over the place from, music student to private pilot to computer programmer to woodworker. I currently live in Webster Groves, MO with my wife, Beth, and three cats: Ginger, Penelope and Daisy.
